Here are my September planner spreads. Despite this month not being too eventful. I decided to still share my month in my Unique Planner as next month I will be moving into a Traveler’s Notebook. It will definitely be a change to get use to but I am excited to try something new. I keep seeing everyones cute TN set ups all over Instagram and Youtube that it’s making me feel left out so I’ve jumped on the bandwagon. Also, it gives me the opportunity to get more creative with my planning.
1st Week in September
The beginning of the month was an interesting one. Looking back it feels like forever ago. Before uni. Before my blog. But what really stood out for this week was – this bag. As silly as that sounds. But I had to include it in this post because it now comes with me everywhere and I just love it. My boyfriend surprised me with it. He says it was a ‘Late’ birthday present. Even if my birthday was a month ago. I’m not complaining.
I used a kit from Plannerface. The muted colours reflect the wind down from Summer. Both Autumn and Summer have an element of softness so I like how the two are combined into one spread. Also, the colours go perfectly with my new bag so it was a win win.
2nd Week in September
This was the last week of my 4 month Summer and as excited as I was to start back at university, I was and still nervous to see what a new year would bring. I spent my final week relaxing and enjoying what free time I still had left. Additionally, this week saw my boyfriend go away with work for three weeks. It was hard but at least it’s over and done with now.
I wasn’t kidding when I said my new favourite shop was Plannerface. I’m obsessed. Every week of September, I had to use a Plannerface kit. So if you spot a running a theme – that would be it. Whenever I look at her shop, I can’t resit! I see a kit and think ‘That would be perfect for such and such a week…’ and I just have to buy it. This kit was called ‘Book Lover’ and it was the perfect back to school/university kit. Also, the kit included a lot of pink and I’ll never say no to ANYTHING pink. I
originally wanted to use it in next weeks spread. However, it was the start of Autumn so with that came the Autumn kits.
3rd Week in September
Planner Kingdom is live!!! This week saw the launch of my blog and I couldn’t be happier. Right back in May I set myself the goal of starting a planning blog by the end of Summer and I feel so proud I managed to achieve it. Even if everything was set to go the day before going back to uni – it still counts. As far as weeks go, I had a full on week (Compared to previous weeks that is). I think in an attempt to stay busy. And it worked. Particularly ending the week with the PBC sale. I went a bit sticker crazy whoops.
With it turning Autumn on the 23rd of this month, my first Autumn kit made an appearance. Again from Plannerface. It’s was definitely time to incorporate those deep yellows, oranges and reds. And I couldn’t agree more – it is certainly sweater weather! Jumpers are now being worn and my new favourite discovery is teddy coats. Surprising Ebay taking number one position and being £11 helps. What a bargain. Think I might get the red one to match with all my upcoming Autumn spreads.
4th Week in September
For my final week in September also my final spread in this planner. I chose the most perfect kit in numerous ways. 1. The kit was called ‘Fairytale’ and after spending all of September without my boyfriend, having him home felt like a real life fairytale. Soppy I know but true. 2. There was a castle full box which epitomises Planner Kingdom to a tee. 3. I went on a last minute weekend away to Edinburgh and saw the castle. Who would have thought there could be so many castle references for one week?! But there you go. And this kit exudes just that. Needless to say the kit is from Plannerface.
So September is over and October is here. With that means more Autumn spreads and… Halloween spreads! As much as I hate Halloween, I still try to stick with the current theme in my planner as much as possible. It’s getting to that exciting time of the year. As well as a busy time of the year that’s for sure. Let’s go.
