Second month in my Traveler’s Notebook. Check. I can’t believe I’m already sharing my November spreads. This month I’ve started uploading my weekly layouts to Instagram which I’ve really enjoyed doing. Feel free to have a little peek! I love looking at other peoples spreads so I’m happy I can finally join in. Saying that I still very much enjoy doing my monthly roundups as it’s a good way to sum up a month before entering into a new one.
As well as Instagram, I’ve really tried to up my Pinterest game and I’ve been seeing a lot of activity on my planner layouts so I wanted to add a few more pictures in this post. If you’re not already following me on Pinterest please do! I love being on Pinterest and I am always happy to find new friends. So lets see the spreads for November.
For the first week in November I used a kit from Strawberry Lime Designs. I first used one of her kits a couple weeks ago and she’s slowly becoming one of my favourite shops. I also have one of her kits planned for over the Christmas period – I’m very excited. I’m running out to the post box every morning to see if it’s arrived but still nothing. I need to learn to be more patient. Haha.
Like I had previously mentioned, I had hoped using this kit would help me go to a Bonfire this year after not being one for a couple years. And despite not going to a Bonfire. A Bonfire came to us. We had a mini Bonfire at home with family and I had such a good time. This was the perfect kit to match this week and I’m so glad to have discovered this shop.
This week was the week of Remembrance Sunday. And this was another kit which went perfectly with the theme of the week. I used a kit from Plannerface. Using such a kit meant a lot to me with my boyfriend just leaving the army as well as me organising an event for SSAFA – a charity which supports the Armed forces and veterans.
I knew before even using this kit I would love it and I 100% did. Plannerface will always be one of my go to go sticker shops. However she has stopped selling glossy stickers. And I’m a glossy girl. As much as I’ve tried matte and even premium matte – it just isn’t for me which is a shame because I love her kit layouts. Her mini kits are just the right amount of stickers I need to plan and her prices are great. I’ll have to find a way around this somehow.
After a couple weeks of heavy, quite dark spreads, it was nice to use a lighter sticker kit. It was also a pure coincidence my nails matched this weeks spread but it made for a good picture. I used another kit from Plannerface and I think it turned out great. This week I could really feel the weather getting much colder and this spread reflected that. I’ve been hoarding this kit for a while now so I’m happy I finally managed to use it. I also used my all time favourite date covers with this spread from Ickle and Co. She offers such a wide range of colours in her shop that are bound to match any spread!
As well this week, it was the week of my fourth driving test. No luck. I really struggle with the tests! The nerves just get the better of me! Three years of lessons and still going strong. Who else has this same problem?! I can’t be the only one out there. But I know I’ll get there eventually.
I LOVE the colours in this kit! I love anything pink anyway but the pink and purple combo really did it for me. I thought this was the perfect mix of a Winter/ Christmas kit with the baubles and the girl putting up her tree (which I had to cover slightly oops). We did end up putting our tree up at the end of week so I couldn’t have used a better kit. But there are still those Wintery elements as well like the boots and the jumper. It made for the ultimate transitional kit before all the Christmas kits start next week! I can’t wait! I have something very exciting planned.
There you go! That’s November for you. Are you excited for December? I know I am. I can’t wait to show all my Christmas spreads. I really love having somewhere where I can share my love for planning. So what do you all have planned for December? I would love to see.
