It’s 2019 and we’re back with another monthly roundup. A little late but we are back. And also with a new planner! So for the New Year I thought I would try the Erin Condren planner. It is definitely up there with the most popular planners out there and I’m happy to finally get my hands on one.
As I did receive my planner mid-Januray, I did memory planning spreads for the first three weeks. Here’s how they turned out! I’m obsessed.
I used a kit from Paper Crown Planner on Etsy. This is actually a printable kit meaning you purchase the files online then cut the stickers yourself either by hand or with a silhouette. I actually invested in my very own silhouette for Christmas so I’ve been having fun playing with it and making stickers at home!
As I was memory planning this week and already used a kit in my B6 planner for the same week which I had bought from a sticker shop on Etsy, this printable kit was a great option for me as there was no shipping times and I had it ready to go there and then.
I love this kit so much! It matched up to my week perfectly. I did go out for New Year so the partying full boxes fit that, however I LOVE the fact there is the full box with the planner and the camera as I did spend most of my week setting up my new planner and printing/ cutting stickers.
I did add some gold foil stickers to this spread from Simply Beautiful Plans. I have been loving foil recently! I never was a fan but now I can’t get enough (FYI I’m even more foil obsessed now than I was during this week!) If you haven’t seen my last post – check it out! I talk about a foil shop on Etsy that I’m loving at the minute.
Surprisingly I only included one yes ONE winter kit in the whole month of January. It seemed everyone was going winter crazy in their planners but for some reason other kits were just jumping out at me more. Saying that I wanted at least one winter kit so I chose this one from Print Petticoat Bandit on Etsy. This is also a printable kit like the previous one and fun fact this shop was actually the first printable shop that caught my eye.
I like the bow headers that came with this kit. I don’t usually use bow headers in my spreads. I tend to stick to to do/ today headers or the glitter headers. But seen as I’ve had to adapt to a new planner styling in this planner, I’m enjoying trying new things!
I went deco mad this week and I love how full the page looks. No foil this week but I don’t think it needs it at all. That’s another great thing about printable kits, that you are able to print as little or as many sheets as you like. And in my case I went with with all of them. And these kits come with a lot!
Another kit from Print Petticoat Bandit. This week marked my sisters 18th! It was a long day coming. It’s so girly and fun! I couldn’t have chosen a better kit. A lot of shops used this art and I could have quite easily gone with one of them but this shop did it just as well plus I didn’t have to wait for it to get to me – bonus!
My sister is actually a red head so this full box was spot on. I put it on Monday as that was her birthday and wrote ‘Sadie is 18!!!’ in the sidebar for my highlight of the week. I liked writing a reminder of my week in these memory spreads. It’s something I might consider incorporating into my usual planning style.
Again I went overboard with the deco and I love it. I do like the look of all the deco at the top of the page. I will definitely being buying more printable kits from this shop again. They include everything I need and more.
This was the week I got my new planner! I’ve never been so happy to pay customs in my life! I actually got two new planners this week oops. I used a kit from Simply a Mess. I’ve bought from this shop lots before and it probably in my top three sticker shops for kits. I have a whole new favourites list for foil now! I have seen her sneak some foil items though so it would be great if she dived into foil – I would love to try it! How exciting.
I went with this kit for this week not only because it is super cute and I love anything pink especially that pink pizza. But I wasn’t too well this week and with the kit being called ‘Let’s Stay Home’ and me doing just that – it was very fitting.
I mixed in some hot pink foil into this spread from Murdock Talks which I had on a little sampler so it didn’t have many stickers on but I used what I could. I think the little pops of hot pink make this spread to be honest.
That’s a wrap…
I wanted to make a few changes in this post. For instance I made the images bigger so you can see those amazing stickers more clearly. I have also switched up my editing style to make use of my photoshop subscription haha. I hope you enjoyed the new improvements!
